Instead of taking time off work or rearranging your daily schedule to see your GP for a script, you can request a prescription from the comfort of your home or office with Our Sage. Skip the waiting room and get an online prescription delivered directly to your email or phone.

An online script or eScript, is a prescription for medication that is supplied to you electronically. You can request an online script with Our Sage in 3 simple steps:

1. Complete the script request on the Our Sage webiste
2. Speak to a healthcare professional
3. Once approved, your eScript will be sent to your email, SMS or via the Our Sage app

$19 Repeat or Regular Medication Scripts are available for a single online prescription for a regular medication you are already taking.

$45 New Scripts are also available via Our Sage. Speak to an Our Sage healthcare professional to request a new medication or request a change to a current medication.

Please note: the prescribing of any medication is at the discretion of the consulting Our Sage healthcare professional and is not guaranteed. Our Sage healthcare professionals are unable to prescribe controlled, addictive, Schedule 8 / Streamlined Authority medications.

No appointment is required, simply request a script here and wait to speak with an Our Sage healthcare professional who will review your request. Once approved, your online script will be sent directly to your email, phone or the Our Sage app. The Our Sage app allows you to store and access your eScripts as well as referrals and medical certificates.

Who can access an online prescription?

To request an online script with Our Sage, you need to be 18 years or older and have a valid Medicare card so your identity can be verified.

How much does an online prescription cost?

A single prescription for a medication you are already taking is $15. To request a prescription for a new medication or to request a change to a current medication, you will need to speak to an Our Sage healthcare professional. A new prescription request is $45.

How will I receive my script?

Your eScript will be sent via email or SMS. Your eScript will also be available under the “Online Pharmacy” section of the Our Sage app. Download the Our Sage app today on Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Why do I need to provide my Medicare card?

In order to validate your identity, you will need to supply either a valid Medicare card or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) via Services Australia.

Is a consult covered by Medicare?

Our Sage telehealth consults are not eligible for a Medicare rebate. Repeat and renewal scripts from Our Sage are priced at $15 while new scripts are $45.

Is a prescription request guaranteed?

The prescribing of any medication is at the discretion of the consulting Our Sage healthcare professional and is not guaranteed. Our Sage healthcare professionals are unable to prescribe controlled, addictive, Schedule 8 / S4 Streamlined Authority medications. Refunds will not be provided for consultations that don’t result in a prescription.

What are your hours of operation?

Our Sage is available from 7am -11pm (AEST), every day. If you submit a request for a script before 7am, you will receive a call during these operating hours.
